Hi! We’re the Midkiff's, Daniel, Tiffany, Adelaide, and Luke. We believe children are very special to God and the call to care for children and especially the orphan is of utmost importance. Adoption is such a clear picture of the Gospel and God’s love for His children. We are excited to be adopting from India and welcoming another child into our family. We chose India because it fulfilled two desires for us. Where is the need great and where are the most unwanted and vulnerable? It is estimated the India has 31 million orphans, many whom are found abandoned. We believe God has a little girl that needs us, and we need her. Our Father is faithful and good, and we cling to those promises as we prepare for adoption. Our desire is for all of our children to understand how much their parents and family love them, and realize that their Heavenly Father loves them even more and He has a wonderful plan for their life.
Martin Luther King Jr. said “Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the staircase.” It is by faith that we take steps towards adoption. Adoption is costly. Not only is it costly financially, it costs us in time, stretches our comfort zones, and it can come with emotional costs. We believe the cost is worth it. Christians are called to do hard things. We do them with the help of Christ and by leaning on each other. We need community as the story unfolds for us and our little girl. While we would love for you to be a fundraiser and partner with us in this journey, we most covet your prayers and encouragement. We ask that you will hope and pray alongside us, share our story with others, and if so led, give to help bring our daughter home.
