When you place your faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ, you become adopted into the family of God. We believe adoption is the heart of the gospel and if God can build His family through adoption, how much more should we value adoption? Yet, not everyone can adopt a child and that’s why we started the “Woven Papyrus Adoption Project.” The name Woven Papyrus was inspired by the adoption story of Moses in Exodus 2:1-10.
From Moses’ mother placing him in the basket to Pharaoh’s servant finding him among the reeds, baby Moses went on a journey. We are the basket which carries orphans to great homes. Our prayer is that, like Moses, these children will grow to be great leaders for God. Just as a papyrus basket...
Our staff and board are commited to serving God. We believe that God has called us into the orphan care ministry and we trust that He has provided us with the right staff that is equiped to further the ministry and His mission. We stand ready to do what God has called all Christians to do.
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this; to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”James 1:27
